Isokon Building, Lawn Road, Hampstead

This Infallible Asphalt project consisted of mastic asphalt roofing, on cut-to-falls insulation, and new asphalt balconies. The mastic asphalt, which was supplied by Permanite, is finished with special shades of Spartan tiles. The Isokon building is a Grade I listed building, and one of the best remaining examples of brutalist architecture in the UK. The Open University maintains a website on the topic at From here to modernity.
