Marine Gate is a prestigious high-rise block of flats, which is situated directly above Brighton Marina. Decking & Felting Ltd was responsible for stripping and replacing the existing roof covering, to an area of approximately 2,000 square metres. The project included the installation of Permanite Bituglas and Permanite Permaseal, to provide a vapour barrier, and Kinsgspan Thermaroof insulation. Two coats of Permaphalt polymer modified asphalt, to a depth of 20mm, were laid on top of this and painted with solar reflective paint.
